Case study / Identity and public safety technology

A scrutinized technology story needed to work from across the aisle.

Clearview AI needed a tradeshow video that could make an investigative identity technology story legible in a crowded, high-pressure environment. Liquid GTM built a kinetic 3D booth asset designed to stop traffic, educate quickly, and turn a large screen into a front-line sales tool instead of background decoration.

01 / The challenge

Attention and trust both had to be earned quickly.

Clearview AI operates in a category where attention and trust are both hard to earn. The company’s technology sits near identity, investigation, public safety, and government use cases, which means buyers arrive with questions before they arrive with interest. A standard brand video would not be enough. A dense explainer would ask too much of people walking a tradeshow floor.

The event environment made the assignment harder. Booth screens have only a few seconds to earn attention. The story has to read without a long setup, compete with noise from the floor, and give sales teams a useful opening for a more serious conversation. The video needed to explain enough to be useful from a distance and hold enough detail to support a buyer who stepped closer.

The category also required restraint. Identity technology can sound abstract, clinical, or overly broad if the story leans on generic security language. Clearview AI needed a piece that made the investigative use case clear without overstating the fit for every identity-management scenario. The goal was to make the technology easier to understand in a public-safety buying context, not to sand down the sensitivity of the market.

02 / The approach

We treated the booth screen as the first sales conversation.

Liquid GTM built the video as a kinetic 3D tradeshow attention-getter. The creative direction prioritized motion, clarity, and fast orientation: enough visual energy to stop traffic, enough structure to communicate what the technology does, and enough polish to make the booth feel credible in a market where buyers are evaluating both product value and institutional risk.

The story focused on investigative identity technology in plain terms. Instead of asking the viewer to sit through a full product walkthrough, the video used a concentrated sequence of visuals to make the category legible quickly. The piece was designed for repeated viewing in a booth environment, where people enter the story at different moments and still need to understand the point.

That approach gave Clearview AI a sales asset with a specific job. It did not try to close the entire argument on screen. It created the conditions for a better conversation: a buyer stops, understands the category faster, and gives the sales team a cleaner opening to explain where the product fits.

03 / The outcome

A booth screen became a front-line sales asset.

The finished 98-second tradeshow video turned Clearview AI’s booth screen into a front-line sales asset. It gave the company a way to make a scrutinized investigative technology story visible in a noisy setting without relying on a long verbal explanation first.

For a public-safety and identity-adjacent product, that matters. Buyers need a clear starting point before they can evaluate the details. The video helped create that starting point by making the work feel specific, visual, and tied to a recognizable investigative context.

The asset also gave the sales team a stronger environment for live conversations. Instead of letting the booth screen sit as decoration, the video gave prospects something to react to. It helped turn passing attention into a more useful exchange: what the technology does, why the category matters, and how Clearview AI fits into the larger public-safety conversation.
